Life In Sherwood

I'm an avid facebooker, haven't quit gotten in to tweeting, but needless to say I'm sure most of you know a lot about my life.  However, since I love talking about myself and my husband and my pets, here is my chance.

First of all, my husband.  Love this man!

He is my rock and without him, I'm not sure I would have been successful on getting my health back in order.  In fact without him, I'm not really sure where I would be in life, lets not spend time imagining.  Anyways, he is such an inspiration to me.  I always joke because he has this shelf in our office with all his awards and it keeps growing to the point that he needs another shelf (pictures to come soon).  I don't have a shelf nor very many awards.  In fact Po has more awards than I do at this point.  My plan though is to start making awards for myself so I can demand my own shelf, I'll let you know how that works out.
Back on topic though, he is such an amazing man.  He puts 100% of himself in to everything and I strive to be like him and if I get 80% of the way there, I'm a better person for it!
Now for the rest of my Sherwood family:

Po - 2 year old male Rottweiler
Before I start down this path, if you don't already know, I am obsessed with my animals!  Animals in general, but mine go to a level that is probably socially unacceptable!  Po is our first animal we got together and has made such an impression on our lives.  He is a goofy, lazy, sometimes crazy eyed, dog park loving, tennis ball chasing, plastic kiddy pool swimming, bed sleeping, trailblazer and laser loving, best friend to everyone!  This dog does it all, except run above an 11 minute mile, and jump in to vehicles.  He brings so much joy into our lives every day, without him our house really isn't a home.  As sick as it is, he is our first kid and we would do anything for him!  He actively listens to you and makes decisions by tilting his head to one side or the other.  I get way to much joy out of asking him questions that start with 'Do you want to..."  It always gets a great reaction, especially when I say ... go to petsmart, go to the dog park, go swimming, go for a walk, go play with 'insert name of dog friend' or watch the Blazers!  He also lets me dress him up and puts up with my crazy antics.  He has multiple halloween costumes, blazer jerseys (borrowed from Matt) and a UO shirt, although lets not go down that path right now.  Here are a few of his best outfits:

Phoenix - Formally known as Phoenix Grills The Kitty With The Messed Up Grill
Matt rescued this cute little kitten right off the side of I5.  His lower lip was ripped nearly off his face, which required some plastic surgery to make him all better.  Honestly, we're not cat people, but this guy has made his way in to our hearts.  Now I'm sure he has a complex as he is a bit fat (he's not even 1 yet!) and I check his hang down belly every day to see if we're making progress on the diet.  Since he was raised by Po, I'm almost 100% confident that when he looks at Po, he sees himself.  Which is why when he sees his reflection in the window, he is shocked that he doesn't see a Rottweiler looking back at him.  Anyways, like the dogs, he sleeps in a crate at night, greets us at the door and loves ear rubs.  He's pretty lazy, has found the toilet is the most constant source of water and has a knack for annoying the crap out of us when we're trying to sleep, hence the crate!  He's a lover not a fighter, probably not by choice though as he has barely any teeth and no front claws, but either way, he is great at cuddling, especially when you need to be working on the laptop!

Also a Blazer fan!

Learned all on his own!

Remi - 5 month old American Bulldog/Pitbull mix (although she pretty much looks all pitty to us!)
Oh Remi girl, what to say about this crazy baby killer (joke of course!)  Remi is such a sweet, cute little girl.  I mean look at that face, how could you get mad at her!  Remi is a rescue from Underdogz Rescue up in Washington and has brought such great energy and zest for life in to our house!  Whenever we have to scold her or tell her no, she looks at us like who me, are you talking to me?  I didn't do anything wrong, I'm Remi! I swear sometimes she even looks over her shoulder to see if there is another dog behind her that is getting in trouble because she is convinced it can't be her you're talking to.  She LOVES her big brother Po! We catch them snuggling together, always plays together (made up games of chase are her favorite) and lately, even making out (I know, gross but they aren't related!). Remi LOVES to play, a lesson we could all learn from her!  She LOVES to play with the cat, with the neighborhood kids, with any dog, with people, you name it!  Her life is all about playing!  She is kind of stinky though, partly due to her nasty eating habits which I will spare you the details.  She just graduated puppy school and is moving on up to middle school!  We are so excited to watch her grow and develop her personality, and let me tell you, she has a lot of it!  She is much more energetic than Po and wears him out!  Remi is the perfect dog to balance out our crazy playhouse!!
